Gasket of dryer can failed and allowed steam to escape. Losing steam means losing money.

Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with a modified Belzona Know-How System Leaflet GSS-6. After grit blasting, a 2" band of Belzona® 1321 brush applied followed by Belzona® 1311 pressed firmly into the seam where the gasket had failed.

Alternative products had been unsuccessful. The dryer was down for 18 hours and we sealed two dryer cans in 7 hours. This was the 14th dryer can head we have done in the mill. It would have cost around $25,000 per head and 2 1/2 days to repalce a gasket.
